I named him "Frechdachs"! Soon, he was exploring the garden and the surrounding fields. He felt at home!
Once, he jumped on a floor vase in the living room, it tipped over, and broke into two pieces. I glued it back together, but only filled it with dried flowers. Eventually, the time had come for him to go to cat heaven.
Then a neighbor asked me if I wanted a kitten. I did! But I asked if there was a light brown one. He had one and gave it to me. Also a tomcat.
I named him Teddy. He looked so sweet and loved being cuddled. Once, while he was playing in the garden, I heard him scream! I ran outside and saw a big tomcat chasing him. I chased the intruder away. But Teddy was scared and had diarrhea.
I took him to the washroom, put him in the basin, and showered him. Then I rubbed him with a towel, wrapped him in a soft blanket so that only his head was sticking out, and laid him close to the radiator. He looked content and happy and watched me do housework. As a result, whenever he came into the house from outside, the first thing he did was go to the washroom, jump into the basin and want to be showered. People always say cats are afraid of water! Unfortunately, he was only with us for a few years. He was playful and used to run after a tractor that was treading hay. I kept seeing him jumping up and grabbing the hay that was flying up. Once he got too close to the treadmill and got a good blow. I took him straight to the vet, but he was badly injured and was put down. After that, I never wanted to have another cat, as it always took at least six weeks of grief before I could reasonably recover from the loss.
