Famous Literary Paradoxes

• The Grandfather Paradox – If you travel back in time and kill your grandfather, you are never born to build the time machine.

• The Barber Paradox – A barber shaves only men who do not shave themselves. Does the barber shave himself?•

The Crocodile Paradox – A crocodile steals a child and promises to return it if the father guesses correctly what the crocodile will do.
the father guesses, "You will not return the child." If the crocodile keeps the child, the father was right, so the crocodile must return it. But if the crocodile returns it, the father was wrong.
