Cat Stories

Lilly was an outdoor cat, and she also preferred her food and milk served outside. There was one exception when she absolutely wanted to come inside:
If I invited my friends for afternoon coffee, Lilly would drum her front paws vigorously on the patio door. I let her in, she waited until I sat down again, then she jumped onto my lap, her front paws on the table, and looked proudly around. Only when my friends said goodbye did Lilly disappear into the garden. Who knows a lot about cats and can tell me what that meant?
